Bicep & Tricep Augmentation

Conveniently located to serve Seattle and Bellevue

What Is Bicep & Tricep Augmentation?

Bicep & tricep augmentation procedures are ways to permanently increase the definition and mass of the biceps and triceps. These body procedures are ideal for those who have attempted to build and tone muscles in the bicep and tricep areas but are not seeing the results they’ve been hoping for. The implants used are usually made of soft solid silicone. These will be created according to the patient’s aesthetic goals and body proportions. The result is a look that is natural and impressive. These plastic-surgery procedures are best for patients who are in overall good health and who do not smoke. Smokers will need to quit several weeks before the procedure and will need to continue to avoid smoking throughout the healing process afterwards.

What Happens During Bicep & Tricep Augmentation?

Bicep & tricep augmentation with implants both typically take one to two hours to perform. Anesthesia is first administered to the patient. In many cases, general anesthesia is used, but in some cases, local anesthesia with sedation can also be used. This decision will be made based on the preferences of Dr. Parikh and the patient.

I loved my experience with Dr. Parikh and his highly professional team. I got exactly what i asked for and I’m more pleased then what was even expected. They make you feel comfortable, and are fun and real to talk to. Highly recommended, plus he’s a perfectionist. B.B.
Once the anesthesia takes effect, incisions are made for insertion of the implants. For bicep enhancement, the incision is created in the armpit. For tricep enhancement, the incision is made in the arm. The incision allows Dr. Parikh to create a pocket in the tissues for the implant. The implant will be inserted into this pocket and should fit snugly. Once it is positioned correctly, the incision is closed with the help of surgical stitches. A dressing is placed over the incision to protect against outside contaminants.
