Reverse Tummy Tuck Bellevue
The Reverse Tummy tuck is simply pulling up the abdominal skin instead of down. It is a procedure for those patients with upper abdominal excess skin that cannot be successfully re-contoured or shaped with a traditional tummy tuck. It is most commonly seen in weight loss patients.
The technique involves an incision in the creases or inframammary folds (IMF) underneath the breasts. The scar is generally hidden underneath the breasts but is connected in the midline. Some patients cannot reach the desired contour of the abdomen by traditional tummy tuck alone. The reverse tummy tuck may be required to reach those goals.
