Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Conveniently located to serve Seattle and Bellevue

What Is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

This procedure is a way to reshape a patient’s nose without any need for scalpels or incisions. Instead, dermal fillers will be injected in key locations to add volume, helping to balance the appearance of the nose.

Dermal fillers are cosmetic products delivered in small amounts via precise injections. Their unique composition allows them to increase the skin’s volume. The fillers used in this treatment are quite safe and effective.

Fillers can last for anywhere from six months to a year and sometimes even longer. After they have been safely absorbed by the body, repeat treatments are available to preserve their results.

While this procedure is not permanent like traditional surgical rhinoplasty, it does offer a number of advantages. It can be used to address symmetry issues, a nasal hump and other nasal-bridge problems, a crooked nose, and nasal wrinkles. The results are typically very subtle and natural-looking.

The Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Consultation

Before a patient’s non-surgical rhinoplasty consultation, they must arrange a consultation with Dr. Parikh. During this, they will tell Dr. Parikh their goals for the procedure and will be able to ask any questions they may have.

This consultation will involve a discussion of the patient’s complete medical history, including allergies, previous procedures, and any medications they are taking. An examination of the patient’s face will be performed.

After these steps are complete, Dr. Parikh will be able to decide whether or not nasal reshaping using fillers will be right for the patient.

Reviews

Dr. Rikesh Parikh is one of the best doctors in the NW! He did a Rhinoplasty for me about 2 weeks ago, and it looks TOO perfect. I recommend everybody to go to Dr. Parikh for facial and body surgery.

The Dermal-Filler Rhinoplasty Session

At the start of treatment, the sites targeted for injection will be carefully marked. No general anesthesia will be needed, since fillers usually contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic used to numb the region to any pain.

Once the areas have been marked, the dermal filler or fillers will be injected, reshaping the nose to the patient’s desired appearance. The entire process only takes around a half an hour to complete.

Benefits Of Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

There are several benefits of or non-surgical rhinoplasty that make it an excellent option for patients. While surgical rhinoplasty procedures take somewhere around 1 – 4 hours to be completed, non-surgical rhinoplasty is a much faster procedure that can be completed in under an hour. It is ideal for someone with a busy schedule who also desires an improvement in the look of their nose.

In addition to the faster procedural process, a non-surgical rhinoplasty also does not require the administration of anesthesia, which means that you remain fully conscious during the procedure. You won’t have to worry about the adverse effects of anesthesia after the treatment is completed.

Since the non-surgical rhinoplasty technique is not as invasive as a traditional rhinoplasty surgery, it involves minimal recovery time, allowing you to quickly return to your normal daily activities.

What To Know Before Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

There are certain things you should keep in mind before you undergo a non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment. For starters, you will need to keep undergoing the treatments if you want sustained results over a long period.

Following each treatment, you may experience minor side effects such as redness, pain, and swelling. These side effects will start to subside once the injection settles, which typically takes around 1 – 2 hours. The side effects subside gradually and it can take up to a week for them to be completely resolved. To minimize the risk of side effects, choose Dr. Parikh – a board-certified and trained physician.

During the preparation phase, you will be advised to avoid aspirin, vitamin E supplements, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning and anti-inflammatory medications. Bruising-related risks are higher when vitamin K consumption is low. To minimize those risks, we recommend consuming a healthy amount of leafy, green vegetables. Also, avoid overeating on the day of the treatment, as it can make you feel nauseous.
