Facial Resurfacing Bellevue
J-Plasma is a facial resurfacing device that uses helium gas as a medium. This procedure treats sun damaged skin, red and brown spots, and fine wrinkles. There are two mechanisms that attempt to resurface and rejuvenate the skin. Similar to laser resurfacing, energy is used to ablate the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) and tighten the skin tightening by affecting the deeper layer of the skin (dermis). The old skin is then replaced with a new layer which is appearing more youthful and tighter.
J-Plasma is a nonsurgical method for treating fine lines and wrinkles. It will not treat a large amount of loose skin in the neck or face. Potential patients are evaluated in a thorough consultation. J-plasma is less invasive than surgery and is a great alternative in the right candidates.
