Born in San Jose, California, and raised in Taiwan as an international student, Dr. Yang developed a global perspective early in life. He later returned to the United States to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. He continued his academic training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, where he completed a Master’s degree with a focus on human nutrition and cord blood stem cell technology; an experience that strengthened his scientific foundation and deepened his commitment to innovation in medicine.

Dr. Yang completed his residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, during which he authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training through a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. His academic excellence was reflected in his performance on the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery examination, where he scored in the 91st percentile.

His clinical expertise spans a comprehensive range of facial procedures, including brow lift, eyelid surgery, deep plane facelift, deep plane neck lift, lip lift, and rhinoplasty. Across all treatments, his goal is to restore youthful structure, balance, and vitality while preserving each patient’s natural identity.

In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Yang is an accomplished medical scientist who has published extensively across multiple research areas, reflecting his ongoing dedication to advancing the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Outside the operating room, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and music. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin allowing him to connect comfortably with a diverse international patient community.
