Technique: Lysis of clitoral adhesions and clitoropexy: Young female who underwent a female genital mutilation FGM type 1 procedure at a young age where the glans clitoris was removed. Also it appears the labia minora were also trimmed. She complained of lack of sensation and confidence. Dr. Parikh removed the scar tissue from around the clitoris, extending it and anchoring so it was visible and back in a more normal anatomical position. In the preoperative photos no clitoris is seen after surgery it is. She regained sensation shortly after the procedure and has an increase in confidence.
